Following the release of their 2012 best-seller Petrus Romanus: The
Final Pope Is Here, Tom Horn and Cris Putnam were inundated with
invitations from around the world to be interviewed on radio,
television, and in print media. These included segments in The
History Channel's "Countdown to Apocalypse," a special feature on
Canada's largest Christian channel VisionTV titled "I Prophesy: The
Apocalypse Series," invitations to Rome to discuss with Italian
media their findings on Rene Thibaut (a Belgian Jesuit whose
meticulous analysis of the Prophecy of the Popes predicted the
arrival of Petrus Romanus in this era), and dozens more. But during
a show on Omega Man Radio the author's disclosed an
"extraterrestrial" connection between Petrus Romanus, the Vatican,
and the Mount Graham Observatory, which rocketed that program into
the #1 position in the world, illustrating to the authors that
modern civilization is more than casually interested not only in
the final pope, but in the connection between Rome and their secret
work on extraterrestrial intelligence, astrobiology, and the
intriguing preparations they are making for the arrival of an alien
'savior.' Thus, the new investigation began and quickly resulted in
findings far more disturbing than the authors expected to find.

Back to Cydonia The truth behind the face on Mars and artificial

LUCIFER, and the Vatican's astonishing exo-theological plan for the
arrival of an alien savior, internationally acclaimed investigative
authors Thomas Horn and Cris Putnam break the greatest story of our
time and expose the elitists and intellectuals who are planning to
assimilate mankind under a coming 'savior, ' one whom the prophet
Daniel foresaw as "an alien god."
The Catholic Church has always recognized that philosophy is
necessary both to understand the faith as well as to defend it. The
need for a philosophically informed faith has become more acute
with the rise of secularism. Seat of Wisdom demonstrates that the
philosophical principles developed in the Catholic tradition,
especially as articulated in Thomism, provide the intellectual
foundation for belief in God and are also the only reliable basis
for a fully coherent vision of man's place in the world. Seat of
Wisdom begins with an exploration of the relationship between faith
and reason. Philosophy's essential role is to discover the rational
principles underlying the intelligible order of reality. These
principles act as a bridge connecting science and religious faith,
enabling the believer to integrate all facets of human experience.
Each of those first principles, as expressed in the transcendental
properties, are then analyzed as the basis of the major
philosophical disciplines. Starting with metaphysics' study of
being, the argument proceeds to consider the true, the good, and
the beautiful in terms of epistemology, anthropology, ethics,
aesthetics, and political philosophy. Lastly, these principles are
shown to point to God as creator. The strength of the Catholic
philosophical tradition is evident when contrasted with reductive
theories which fail to account for the breadth of human experience.
Consequently, each chapter will introduce influential philosophers
whose inadequate theories inform contemporary assumptions. Against
this, the Thomistic argument is elucidated as being inclusive of
the insights of the reductive position. It will be seen that this
"both/and" approach is the only way to do justice to the glory of
God and the gift of creation. Religion is prey to skepticism when
it is isolated from the rest of knowledge. This integrative
argument, uniting discussions of nature, politics, and theology
according to common principles, enables the reader to grasp the
unity of wisdom. Moreover, by engaging alternative positions, it
provides the reader with tools to defend the Catholic worldview
against those reductive philosophies which only deprive life of its
full meaning.
Pope Francis has thoroughly re-engaged the Catholic Church with the
modern world, by tackling the difficult and urgent questions that
we face as a civilization, in order to illuminate the path to
change. French sociologist Dominique Wolton interviewed Pope
Francis regularly over the course of a year, and their open, warm
dialogue builds a detailed picture of how Pope Francis became the
most popular leader the Catholic Church has ever seen.
The Pope's clarity, humility and humanity are brought to the fore by Dominique
Wolton's engaging and relevant questions. As well as revealing
fascinating insights into his early life, in The Path to Change
Pope Francis freely addresses the major issues of our time: peace
and war, politics and religion, globalization and cultural
diversity, fundamentalism and secularism, Europe and migrants,
ecology, family, time, trust and joy.
Amid Passing Things is a collection of meditations on all the ways
God enters our lives, even when we're unaware. Based on his own
life experiences, Franciscan friar Jeremiah Shryock offers both
struggles and joys that come in a life that's consciously
encountering God-the Holy One all around us-not in some far-off
place, but right here and now in this life, amid passing things.
Servant of God Nicholas Black Elk (1863-1950) is popularly
celebrated for his fascinating spiritual life. How could one man,
one deeply spiritual man, serve as both a traditional Oglala Lakota
medicine man and a Roman Catholic catechist and mystic? How did
these two spiritual and cultural identities enrich his prayer life?
How did his commitment to God, understood through his Lakota and
Catholic communities, shape his understanding of how to be in the
world? To fully understand the depth of Black Elk's life-long
spiritual quest requires a deep appreciation of his life story. He
witnessed devastation on the battlefields of Little Bighorn and the
Massacre at Wounded Knee, but also extravagance while performing
for Queen Victoria as a member of "Buffalo Bill" Cody's Wild West
Show. Widowed by his first wife, he remarried and raised eight
children. Black Elk's spiritual visions granted him wisdom and
healing insight beginning in his childhood, but he grew
progressively physically blind in his adult years. These stories,
and countless more, offer insight into this extraordinary man whose
cause for canonization is now underway at the Vatican.

Representing the highest quality of scholarship, Gilles Emery
offers a much-anticipated introduction to Catholic doctrine on the
Trinity. His extensive research combined with lucid prose provides
readers a resource to better understand the foundations of
Trinitarian reflection. The book is addressed to all who wish to
benefit from an initiation to Trinitarian doctrine. The path
proposed by this introductory work comprises six steps. First the
book indicates some liturgical and biblical ways for entering into
Trinitarian faith. It then presents the revelation of the Father,
Son, and Holy Spirit in the New Testament, by inviting the reader
to reflect upon the signification of the word "God." Next it
explores the confessions of Trinitarian faith, from the New
Testament itself to the Creed of Constantinople, on which it offers
a commentary. By emphasizing the Christian culture inherited from
the fourth-century Fathers of the Church, the book presents the
fundamental principles of Trinitarian doctrine, which find their
summit in the Christian notion of "person." On these foundations,
the heart of the book is a synthetic exposition of the persons of
the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in their divine being and
mutual relations, and in their action for us. Finally, the last
step takes up again the study of the creative and saving action of
the Trinity: the book concludes with a doctrinal exposition of the
"missions" of the Son and Holy Spirit, that is, the salvific
sending of the Son and Holy Spirit that leads humankind to the
contemplation of the Father.
More than twenty-five years have passed since the publication in
1979 of "Brothers and Sisters to Us," the U.S. Bishops' statement
against racism, and during this time white Catholic theologians
have remained relatively silent on this topic. In this hard-hitting
study, prominent Roman Catholic theologians address white
priviletge and the way it contributes to racism. They maintain that
systems of white privilege are a significant factor in maintaining
evil systems of racism in our country and that most white
theologians and ethicists remain ignorant of their negative impact.
