Bought this kettle for two reasons:-
1. As it is only 1.3 kw it is less likely to trip my inverter when other appliances are also being used.
2. We usually only want one or two cups, so the .9 liter capacity is ideal .... and prevents other household members (who don't pay the electricity bill!) boiling a full full-size kettle when they only want one cup!!!
For the same volume of water it takes longer to boil, obviously, but otherwise it is lighter and easier to use. Very happy with it. (You can get a two year guarantee by registering it)
