Review This Product

Byrne proves there is a sucker born every minute – and they buy lots of her books. She is the Jimmy Swaggart of literature. She refuses to give interviews. I would too, if I were her. She has nothing to say. Interviewing her would be like watching Barbie think. The world is lost in a sea of love and light. The Desperatti spend billions every year on The Secret and its clones. Visualisation is lovely, but these authors confuse positive thinking with positive action. You can think as much as you like. Nothing will happen unless you do something along with the thinking. Books like these repeat that we get what we deserve. It follows therefore, that you deserve to be poor, or unemployed or sick. The universe has spoken. I’m tired of these SHAM (Self Help Alternative Medicine) gurus. They harm more than they help. Dying people need support and love, not ridiculous expectations of miracle cures. Poor people need jobs not gibberish about the law of attraction. If this nonsense worked, there would be no sick people and we would all be rolling in money. At least the millions of those who have bought her book would be. Byrne repeats herself, and writes badly. I particularly enjoyed her babbling on about how people “once lived for hundreds and hundreds of years.” Her references are “ancient texts”. Apparently we no longer do this because, “People changed what they believed.” I recommend a healthy dose of common sense and the application of the power of reason for Byrne and her readers. Postive thought accompanies Positive Action

Mon, 30 Dec 2019 | Review by: AshB

When I first received this book years ago, I loved the mystery of the cover like me finding some 100-year-old treasure. The overall look and feel of the book and pages are truly beautiful. Plus, this is where I found out about the Law of Attraction and understood the power of positive thinking. So, all in all, I give this book, the author, four stars. The book contains many stories of people who changed their lives through the power of positive thinking or then the law of attraction of which I enjoyed reading. Why not five stars...well, I feel the author leaves out a crucial part or component in this book. Positive thinking alone won't bring you far. It may change your way of thinking, change your perception of how you view your reality. It will change you into a more positive person. But, what about the action? You can pray and wish until you're blue in the face to win the lottery, to cure a fatal disease, wanting your debt to go away, food in your fridge, etc. Thinking your way through life is not going to change your way of life. You need to take positive action as well. You want the debt to go away, then manage your finances better, stop over spending, get a financial advisor, etc. These are silly simple examples, but you get the idea. You want to win the lottery, then go out and buy a ticket. Can you work with money? Do you know what you'll do with the money? You see, there are many factors involved than just winning a million dollars. Try to find the lesson, the message you need to learn or master before you receive that winning lottery ticket. You want an illness to go away or want a family member cured... well, what are you doing to eat healthier, live healthier. Are you simply following the norm pharmaceutical way which is destroying millions of more lives or are you willing to be open to alternative methods? Are you willing to put in the work it requires to become healthy and stronger again? Someone you love is fatally ill, you want them healed...well, this person's life is not just about you. They have their purpose to fulfill. Maybe it's their time, regardless of how difficult or impossible it may seem to fathom. Maybe their purpose was only to see the earth for a short amount of time. Maybe they need to master a lesson before becoming healthy again. You want food in your fridge; are you being pro-active and asking for help if you have no other solution? Are you managing your finances wrong? Do you struggle with addiction that causes your family not to have enough money to eat? Can you find a better paying job? If all your possible resources are depleted, can you ask for help? You see, with positive thinking comes positive action. Being pro-active and taking action which accompanies the thought of the law of attraction. And this is what I feel this book missed or rather left out. You can imagine yourself a rich better life, but if you're not going to take action towards it...you're going to have a hard time manifesting the life you want. We live in difficult times. More and more people struggle, suffer and having little to nothing. Thought alone has immense power and can create miracles, but being positively active ensures you reach your goal with certainty.
