Recently revised from the Mid-February edition as of 11/01/08. I've
made a very concerted effort to try and incorporate as much
pertinent horsemanship knowledge into the chapters; as a way to
better serve the novice; average, or below average horseplayer. I
truly believe that after reading this book, you will immediately
come away with a better sense of yourself (as a horseplayer), and
will soon realize where exactly it is you want to be as a
horseplayer. Or, you might have a wonderful epiphany and realize
that maybe you too can become a more successful horseplayer. Maybe,
a "professional" I must admit that if you're taking yourself at all
seriously, you are also going to need my newest horse handicapping
book... "The Tuttle Way" or "The Tuttle Way II." are a bit more
advanced, and it can only help further your development as a
Horseplayer.
Hello, I'm David Greene, and this is my second offering as a writer
of Sports Betting books. I've been making quite the nice living
wagering on College and Pro sports (not just Football), for almost
fifteen years now. I've been recently persuaded to go public with
all of my self-taught theories and practices. I've come to believe
that if I am any kind of a teacher; that anyone with the proper
amount of motivation; can absolutely be taught how to become a Pro.
Throughout this booklet of mine you will (at the very least) learn
a heightened degree of discipline. This alone, will completely
revitalize your career as a gambler. This booklet was designed to
help all levels of Sports Gamblers. But, I must admit it primarily
delves into football betting, mostly. So, if you're a novice or at
the avid level; I assure you that this booklet will help you
immensely
My wagering system, WILL make you Win MORE OFTEN My "System" is
absolutely revolutionary to the world of horse betting, as you know
it And, out of pure generosity; I'm going to divulge it to the
entire Internet community. I sometimes hit 70% of my win bets I'm
now 39 years of age and as of age 28: I was officially a
professional horse handicapper. I've lived all over the world, and
over the past ten years (and since the advent of the Internet);
I've made a very comfortable living wagering primarily on the game
of Horse Racing. My techniques work overseas and quite obviously
here in the good old U.S.A. I once spent three months in an
entirely foreign land with just 2,000.00USD to my name. I came back
home with a little over 12k.
This is the most detailed & comprehensive book available on the
subject of sports-arbitrage. It has been written by an expert, with
15 years of trading experience, who sets out towards two goals: to
teach the novice reader all there is to know before embarking on
his or her sports-arbitrage trading project, and to teach
experienced traders some of the more complex techniques used by
professionals. Over 100 pages of this book are devoted to divulging
methods to find arbitrage opportunities manually and, by using many
real-world examples of trades, the author reveals & explains
several techniques which have never before been published and which
are as yet unknown to the majority of traders. The theories are
explained clearly but what really sets this book apart is its focus
on the practical realities of trading. Whether you are a novice or
experienced trader, the author's insights will help you towards
increased profits from your sports-arbitrage trading project.
Blackjack Card Counting is an easy-to-understand reference book for
players to use to gain an advantage at casino blackjack by counting
cards. The method works because if the dealer reveals more small
cards than large cards, the average value of the remaining cards
increases. If there are relatively more high cards remaining, the
probability of a blackjack paying 3 to 2 increases, the probability
of winning on a doubled-down bet increases, and the probability of
the dealer busting with a 12 to 16 showing increases. Topics
include blackjack basics, counting cards, the running count, the
true count, betting strategy, and player decisions. The book
includes charts showing the optimal blackjack strategy depending on
the card count. The author is a mathematician with experience as a
consultant to the gaming industry who has sold thousands of books.
The glitter and excitement that tourists associate with casinos is
only a facade. To the gaming industry's front-line employees, its
dealers, the casino is a far less glamorous environment, a
workplace full of emotional tension, physical and mental demands,
humor and pathos. Author H. Lee Barnes, who spent many years as a
dealer in some of Las Vegas's best-known casinos, shows us this
world from the point of view of the table-games dealer. Told in the
voices of dozens of dealers, male and female, young and old, Dummy
Up and Deal takes us to the dealer's side of the table. We observe
the ""breaking in"" that constitutes a dealer's training, where the
hands learn the motions of the game while the mind undergoes the
requisite hardening to endure long hours of concentration and the
demands of often unreasonable and sometimes abusive players. We
discover how dealers are hired and assigned to shifts and tables,
how they interact with each other and with their supervisors, and
how they deal with players-the winners and the losers, the
""Sweethearts"" and the ""Dragon Lady,"" the tourists looking for a
few thrills and the mobsters showing off their ""juice."" We
observe cheaters on both sides of the table and witness the
exploits of such high-rollers as Frank Sinatra and Colonel Parker,
Elvis's manager. And we learn about the dealers' lives after-hours,
how some juggle casino work with family responsibilities while
others embrace the bohemian lifestyle of the Strip and sometimes
lose themselves to drugs, drink, or sex. It's a life that invites
cynicism and bitterness, that can erode the soul and deaden the
spirit. But the dealer's life can also offer moments of humor,
encounters with generous and kindly players, moments of pride or
humanity or professional solidarity. Barnes writes with the candor
of a keen observer of his profession, someone who has seen it
all-many times-but has never lost his capacity to wonder, to
sympathize, or to laugh. Dummy Up and Deal is a colorful insider's
view of the casino industry, a fascinating glimpse behind the
glitter into the real world of the casino worker.
Roulettechess is a unique roulette textbook with over a hundred
American and French flexible game strategies, including basic
roulette playing instructions. The strategies are designed to show
players how to reduce risk by selecting offensive and defensive
numbers for the same spin of the wheel. A player can select a
return on various offensive and defensive combinations. A preferred
strategy, as selected by a player, might be based on wheel
coverage, risk, simplicity of layout, return on wager,
manageability of strategy, flexibility, mixture of offensive and
defensive numbers, location of offensive and defensive number on
the layout, a player's time constraints, and approximately one
hundred dollars to play American Roulette. An equivalent amount is
required to play French Roulette. Some strategies have suggestions
on how to change the coverage by substituting one or two numbers.
The front of the book has wheel coverage diagrams, used as an index
for 130 drawings that follow. The book frontage also has
interesting "Wager and Time Table Guides" which simply show how a
player, with only eighty one dollars ($81.00) can play 21 American
Roulette Games at $21.00 each game, have only defensive wins of
$17.00, and have $21.00 left at the end of playing the 21 games.
Something about the Author Mr. Hector L. Cintron, the author of the

from the industry but, his vast knowledge of what's going on within
the casino table games will give you, the reader, and easy way to
understand the basics of the gaming cycle, not only from the
casinos insides, but from the out's of the player, in this case,
yourself. G. Martnez
A cabin boy in 1839; could steal cards and cheat the boys at
eleven; stock a deck at fourteen; bested soldiers on the Rio Grande
during the Mexican war; won hundreds of thousands from paymasters,
cotton buyers, defaulters and thieves; fought more rough and tumble
fights than any man in America and was the most daring gambler in
the world. George H. Devol was the greatest riverboat gambler in
the history of the Mississippi. Born in Ohio in 1829, he ran away
from home and worked as a cabin boy at age ten. At Fourteen he
could stack a deck of cards. Over the years, he bilked soldiers,
paymasters, thieves, cotton buyers and businessmen alike. He fought
more fights than anyone and was never beaten. This is his story.
Nobody was ever bored by it. Many of the earliest books,
particularly those dating back to the 1900s and before, are now
extremely scarce and increasingly expensive. Pierides Press are
republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality,
modern editions, using the original text and artwork.

This work is a complete mathematical guide to lottery games,
covering all of the problems related to probability, combinatorics,
and all parameters describing the lottery matrices, as well as the
various playing systems. The mathematics sections describe the
mathematical model of the lottery, which is in fact the essence of
the lotto game. The applications of this model provide players with
all the mathematical data regarding the parameters attached to the
gaming events and personal playing systems. By applying these data,
one can find all the winning probabilities for the play with one
line (for each category in part or cumulatively), and how these
probabilities change with playing the various types of systems
containing several lines, depending on their structure. Also, each
playing system has a formula attached that provides the number of
possible multiple prizes in various circumstances. Other
mathematical parameters of the playing systems and the correlations
between them are also presented. The generality of the mathematical
model and of the obtained formulas allows their application for any
existent lottery (including variations like Keno) and any playing
system. Each formula is followed by numerical results covering the
most frequent lottery matrices worldwide and by multiple examples
predominantly belonging to the 6/49 lottery. The listing of the
numerical results in dozens of well-organized tables, along with
instructions and examples of using them, makes possible the direct
usage of this guide by players without a mathematical background.
The author also discusses from a mathematical point of view the
strategies of choosing involved in the lotto game. The book does
not offer so-called winning strategies (proving that the only
strategy is that of choosing), but helps players to better organize
their own playing systems and to confront their own convictions (so
many times based on false perceptions) with the incontestable
reality offered by the direct applications of the mathematical
model of the lotto game. As a must-have handbook for any lottery
player, this book offers essential information about the game
itself and can provide the basis for gaming decisions of any kind.

This book begins with my day of sentencing. I had been practicing
law in Henderson, North Carolina for ten years and on this day I am
in court for armed bank robbery. I share what this day was like as
well as prison life. While confined, I came to the realization that
I was a compulsive gambler. I share my background of growing up in
a small rural area in Eastern North Carolina and the details of how
my gambling began and more specifically the card game of poker.
Recounting and sharing many aspects of my life were painful but
then there were other aspects that were a joy. Sharing my mental
hospital experience and the sharing of the crime were difficult.
But sharing where I am now and how blessed I have been were moments
of joy. It is about this thirty-six year old lawyer who had been
practicing law for ten years but because of unwise choices, flawed
judgment, terrible foresight and bad habits, eventually ends up in
prison. I end this book by attempting to show that in the face of
adversities, one can still overcome and be successful, if he has
the determination, perseverance and faith. The book in not intended
to be a detailed autobiography but rather a life of gambling;
especially, the card game of poker.
Crap is a negative expectation game. The book is a realistic
explanation of the rules, the bets and how to avoid the scams,
myths and baloney that is associated with the game. The author, Kim
Isaac Greenblatt, is a systems analyst who has tried various
"systems" over the year and has come to the conclusion that there
isn't a way to beat the game. If you want to play the game for fun,
the book offers some insight into the game. For the price of one
craps session, you will learn the rules, the odds and a brief
exposure to some of the bets, dice setting (it doesn't work) and
the importance of discipline. The Chapter titles are: SIMPLE ADVICE
AND NEGATIVE EXPECTATIONS, FIRST LOOK AT A CRAPS TABLE, DICE
COMBINATIONS AND THE BASIS FOR THE GAME, ODDS AND HOW TO CALCULATE
THEM, THE BETS, FREE ODDS, PLACE BETS, 5% BUY BETS OR 5% LAY BETS,
HARDWAY BETS, PROPOSITION BETS, C AND E BETS, BANKROLL, BETTING
SYSTEMS, DICE SETTING, SUPERSTITIONS AND THE GAMBLER'S FALLACY, HOW
TO DEVELOP YOUR OWN WINNING STYLE OF PLAY, CARD CRAPS, CALCRAPS,
and CONCLUSION. The author, Kim Isaac Greenblatt, was a long time
poster to the rec.gambling.craps newsgroup before most sane crap
players left and the spammers took it over. He is also the author
of poker books including, Forty Dollar No Limit Texas Hold'em Ring
Games. His fiction book series, The Inappropriate Library, has
taken off as well. A portion of all his book proceeds go to
research for Rett Syndrome. Rett Syndrome strikes a girl born every
fifteen minutes. Boys born with the Rett gene die at birth.
A riveting inside look at the lucrative world of professional
high-stakes sports betting by a journalist who lived a secret life
as a key operative in the world's most successful sports gambling
ring.
When journalist Michael Konik landed an interview with Rick "Big
Daddy" Matthews, the largest bet he'd placed on a sporting event
was $200. Konik, an expert blackjack and poker player, was no
stranger to Vegas. But Matthews was in a different league: the man
was rumored to be the world's smartest sports bettor, the
mastermind behind "the Brain Trust," a shadowy group of gamblers
known for their expertise in beating the Vegas line. Konik had
heard the word on the street -- that Matthews was a snake, a
conniver who would do anything to gain an edge. But he was also
brilliant, cunning, and charming. And when he asked Konik if he'd
like to "make a little money" during the football season, the
writer found himself seduced . . .
So began Michael Konik's wild ride as an operative of the elite
Brain Trust. In "The Smart Money," Konik takes readers behind the
veil of secrecy shrouding the most successful sports betting
operation in America, bypassing the myths and the rumors, going all
the way to its innermost sanctum. He reveals how they -- and he --
got rich by beating the Vegas lines and, ultimately, the
multimillion-dollar offshore betting circuit. He details the
excesses and the betrayals, the horse-trading and the paranoia,
that are the perks and perils of a lifestyle in which staking
inordinate sums of money on the outcome of a single event --
sometimes as much as $1 million on a football game -- is a normal
part of doing business.
Raceching is one of the most innovative and exciting books ever
written. Based on the Confucian classic I Ching, it is written in a
unique earthy style that is easy to understand and will appeal to
all age groups. The author whose name is the same as the book adds
his own ground breaking techniques when it comes to showing people
how to make everyday predictions by using the Chinese oracle.
Race has included new information in regard to the lines of the I
Ching, by describing a series of actions which he calls single line
tenses. These are a set of drawings, showing in graphic detail the
actions of each and every line of the sixty-four hexagrams, when
they move and change into another (moving line).
Raceching shows a new way to form the hexagrams by a simple
process of word and letter counting, this is not only easy to
operate, but deadly accurate when making predictions. There is also
a chapter dedicated to a technique called psychic anagramming,
where readers learn a new way to predict the future by looking for
hidden words in a person's name.
However, the most exciting feature about Raceching, is that it
centres on horse racing and betting. Race shows his readers how to
turn their daily morning newspaper racing page into an exciting new
word/anagram game that can pick winners and make profit. I Ching
hexagrams are constructed from the name/ time of a horse race by a
simple process of word and letter counting. We look for a word or
words in the name of the horse - matching it with the Raceching
book's blueprint of the winner. There are five logical rules race
has invented to make this one of the most exciting word games since
the birth of the crossword Raceching, canssomething that is similar
to what housewives do on big race days, i.e. looking for
personalised word names on a race card that means something to them
and their intuition, such as the name of a pet or relative's
nickname. It all sounds crazy to the form study boys who have
backed the favourite until the thing wins at 33/1- and nobody
laughs anymore.
Raceching will appeal to not only followers of I Ching, but also
anyone who loves horse racing and gaming in general. It will also
appeal to people who love making words, anagrams and letter
puzzles. It is a dual purpose I Ching book in one.
Raceching the author is an Englishman with an outstanding
knowledge of I Ching. He has based his book around the UK racing
scene, but it is easily adapted to fit world markets. This book is
the first of its kind, entirely innovative and new in relation to
other I Ching publications. When Race says the future is an
anagram.... he means it
Raceching.
