A psychotic television repairman (Mitch Pileggi) is caught in mid-rampage and sentenced to death, but instead of dying in the electric chair, his body just evaporates. Now able to live inside other people's bodies, television transmissions and household wiring, he continues stalking his intended victims in this typical Wes Craven horror offering.
Three Stephen King short stories, linked together by the wanderings of a stray cat, are dramatised in this horror movie. The first sees a chain smoker (James Woods) taking drastic steps to kick the habit, the second features a mobster gaining revenge on his wife's lover, and the third has the cat taking centre stage, pitting its wits against an evil goblin.
Tobe Hooper returns with a second instalment in his notorious saga about the inappropriate use of power tools in the Lone Star state. This time around the action focuses on Texas Ranger Lofty Enright (Dennis Hopper), a man obsessed with finding the lunatic murderers of his brother's kids. When he hears that DJ Vantia Block (Caroline Williams) has a recording of a chainsaw attack made when Leatherface and his pals descended upon a caller during a radio phone-in, he tries to persuade her to use the recording to lure the killers out into the open. She agrees, but neither DJ nor Ranger are quite prepared for the madness they are about to encounter.
Husband-and-wife directorial team Chris Kentis and Laura Lau direct this suspense horror remake starring Elizabeth Olsen. Sarah (Olsen) has returned to the remote country house where she spent her childhood summers to help pack it up and prepare it for sale. While she is alone in the unoccupied, dimly-lit house, mysterious creaking noises start to emanate from upstairs and Sarah soon finds herself caught in the grip of terror.
Patricio Valladares co-writes and directs this action horror. On a ride with his girlfriend Stephanie (Natalie Burn), in preparation for a race in Chile, mountain biker Joe (Bryce Draper) stumbles across an injured car crash victim unconscious at the wheel of his car. After getting the man to safety, the couple discover he's stricken with a mysterious disease that Joe worries is contagious. Meanwhile, they also find themselves being pursued by a group of murderous maniacs. Will they manage to make it out of the woods or the country alive?
Low-budget horror comedy. In the extreme, Japanese reality game show 'Slashers', six lucky contestants have the chance to win millions of dollars, all they have to do is stay alive. To win the money they must navigate their way through a deadly arena while evading the attacks of three vicious, costumed killers known collectively as The Slashers. Will any of them make it out alive to collect the cash?
Nicolas Winding Refn co-writes and directs this horror thriller starring Elle Fanning. The film follows 16-year-old aspiring model Jesse (Fanning) as she moves to Los Angeles to pursue her dream. Signed by Jan (Christina Hendricks)'s modelling agency, Jesse quickly finds herself working with some of the city's top designers and photographers. But her innocence and youth make her a target of her fellow models, including Gigi (Bella Heathcote) and Sarah (Abbey Lee), who it seems are willing to go to any lengths to possess Jesse's X factor and to get revenge for the theft of their limelight. The cast also includes Jena Malone, Desmond Harrington, Keanu Reeves and Alessandro Nivola.
Patricia Arquette and Gabriel Byrne star in this supernatural horror. When it comes to God, Pittsburgh hairdresser Frankie Paige (Arquette) is a firm non-believer. However, after receiving some rosary beads as a gift, Frankie begins suffering from stigmata - bleeding wounds on her hands correlating with those suffered by Christ on the cross. Father Andrew Kiernan (Byrne) is sent to investigate by the Vatican, and although initially dismissive, he gradually begins to realise that Frankie is carrying an important message for mankind. However, Kiernan's corrupt superior, Cardinal Houseman (Jonathan Pryce), wants Frankie's message stopped, and is prepared to resort to extreme lengths to achieve his aims.

Mystery horror co-written and directed by Dan Curtis. Ben Rolf (Oliver Reed) and his family rent an old country mansion for a summer getaway after being given a surprisingly good deal by owners Roz and Arnold Allardyce (Eileen Heckart and Burgess Meredith). Soon after moving in however, the family begin to experience a number of strange phenomena and slowly find themselves succumbing to the mansion's sinister powers.
Low-budget documentary-style horror. On the first night in their new home in Mammoth Mountain, California the Diaz family mysteriously disappeared without a trace. The film uses the family's home footage to document their last hours together, while their friends, acquaintances and town officials are interviewed to give their account of what they think really happened. Are they being targeted by a supernatural force or is their killer within their own family?
Tommy Lee Wallace co-writes and directs this horror based on Stephen King's novel. In 1990, a group of seven childhood friends, known as The Losers Club, reunite to combat a mysterious threat which they had thought was long since buried. Lurking in the shadows, and preying on their innermost fears, a shape-shifting, supernatural predator, manifesting as a killer clown called Pennywise (Tim Curry), prepares to strike again.
Classic creature comedy horror directed by Joe Dante and produced by Steven Spielberg. When Billy Peltzer (Zach Gilligan) is given the cute and friendly little Mogwai, Gizmo (voiced by Howie Mandel), for Christmas, he is told never to expose it to bright light, get it wet or ever feed it after midnight. But one night when a glass of water is accidentally spilled over little Gizmo, Billy soon finds out why he was told to follow this advice as Gizmo begins to convulse, producing five new Mogwai. As Billy and his science teacher, Mr. Hanson (Glynn Turman), then seek to find out more about the creatures, a series of events lead to the escape of a number of them; and due to their heightened intelligence they know exactly how to replicate themselves. Soon after, the town is overrun by a new breed of Mogwai - the 'Gremlins' - who are menacing little reptilian creatures, and far from friendly.
An update of Don Siegel's 1956 horror classic, set in the paranoid 1970s. Alien spores land on Earth and slowly start taking over the people of America when they are asleep. The plants take over the bodies and souls of their victims so that no-one can tell who has been corrupted and who has not. Donald Sutherland takes on the role played originally by Kevin McCarthy, who appears in a cameo.
Controversial slasher horror. Shortly after being released from a mental asylum, where he was incarcerated for murder, Miguel (Alexander Waechter) goes on a brutal killing spree during the Spanish Festival of the Moon. Released into his sister Manuela (Nadja Gerganoff)'s custody, Miguel targets the young women staying at his sister's Youth Club Boarding School for Languages in the Costa Del Sol.
A married Italian professor enjoys the sexual favours of his students, until he becomes the main suspect in the murder of some of them. Based on an Edgar Wallace novel, this effective thriller involves schoolgirls, vice and a series of brutal murders.
Found-footage horror written and directed by Travis Cluff and Chris Lofing. In 1993 Charlie Grimille (Jesse Cross), a high school student of a small town, was killed in an accident during a play called 'The Gallows'. 'I Spit On Your Grave' (2010) stars Sarah Butler as Jennifer, a writer who retreats to a cabin in the woods to begin work on her new book. While there, she is brutally raped by a group of local men whom she encountered en route to the cabin. Jennifer only narrowly escapes with her life - but survive she does, and returns to the locale to carry out the most gruesome revenge on her attackers that she can possibly devise. In 'I Spit On Your Grave 2' (2013) Katie (Jemma Dallender) is a young woman with dreams of becoming a model. Naturally, she is delighted when she receives an offer to attend a photo shoot, however the experience quickly turns into a nightmare when she is kidnapped and sexually and physically abused. When freed from her ordeal, Katie's first impulse is revenge. Will her abductors come to regret their vile behaviour when victim turns tormentor? In 'I Spit On Your Grave 3' (2015), Jennifer returns and begins working at a crisis centre where she answers telephone calls from people in need of advice. When she learns that a serial killer is using the service to track down rapists, Jennifer's dark and troubling past comes back to haunt her.
Ted Geoghegan writes and directs this American horror starring Barbara Crampton and Andrew Sensenig. Following the news that their son has been killed in a car accident, Anne (Crampton) and Paul (Sensenig) retreat to the New England countryside. However, they soon find themselves in a horrific nightmare when a sinister evil terrorises them in their new home leaving them fighting against malevolent entities in order to prevent their souls from being dragged into hell.
Leigh Whannell writes and directs this supernatural suspense horror prequel starring Dermot Mulroney and Stefanie Scott. Prior to the haunting of the Lambert family, 15-year-old Quinn Brenner (Scott) seeks out noted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) to help her connect with the spirit of her dead mother Lillith (Ele Keats), who she believes has been trying to contact her. But with Elise's help, Quinn discovers it wasn't her mother trying to contact her but a malevolent supernatural entity seeking to possess her and in her attempts at contact it may not be the only spirit she has awakened...
Robert Day directs this British sci-fi horror. Manning the experimental Y-13 aircraft, intrepid test pilot Dan Prescott (Bill Edwards) flies deeper into space than any man before him. After losing radio contact with mission control, and being bombarded by mysterious cosmic rays, Dan's wrecked craft is recovered hours later back on Earth with the pilot nowhere to be found. However, a spate of gruesome attacks on cattle and then humans, by a bloodthirsty creature, suggests Dan is still alive, if in a somewhat changed form...
Antony Balch directs this British horror comedy. Struggling pop star Jason Jones (Robin Askwith) attempts to escape the pressures of fame at a country retreat, run by the mysterious Dr. Christian Storm (Michael Gough) and his matronly wife Harris (Ellen Pollock). Once there he discovers the estate is populated by holidaymakers walking around in a daze with scars on their heads, leading Jason to suspect the doctor is conducting experiments in mind control using the unsuspecting hippies as his subjects.
Marty Murray writes and directs this low-budget horror. When three teenagers get the chance to work at a bar in the middle of a remote lake for the summer they think they've landed the opportunity of a lifetime. But the trio's dream summer soon turns into a nightmare when they are haunted by the ghost of the bar's former caretaker, who is said to have committed suicide there decades earlier after losing his establishment in a poker game. Will they be able to find a way off the haunted island?

Police officer Daniel Carter (Aaron Poole) is driving down an otherwise empty stretch of road when he catches sight of a blood-soaked figure staggering along. Rushing the young man to the nearest hospital, a barely staffed and seemingly disused facility, Carter discovers to his horror that something horrific is happening to the staff and patients of the hospital. Gathering what survivors he can he leads them underground in an attempt to escape the Lovecraftian monstrosities seeking them.
