The BF-109 G represents the logical evolution of the earlier F version of the well-known German fighter plane, which dominated the skies during the early stages of World War II. The aircraft was equipped with a more powerful engine in order to increase speed and flying altitude. Some planes were also equipped with increased fire power to combat big Allied bombers. By the end of 1943 the BF-109 G was the backbone of the Luftwaffe and saw action on all theaters, where it was successful in matching Allied air power until the very end of the conflict.
The Mc Donnel Douglas F-15 is an all-weather single seat American fighter, developed with the specific goal to gain and maintain air superiority. The F-15 Eagle has been designed during the ‘70s to provide to U.S. Air Force a modern and extremely high performance advanced fighter. The F-15C is representing the more modern version and it is nowadays largely used by U.S. Air Force, U.S. National Guard, and by the Air Forces of several Countries as Japan, Israel, and Saudi Arabia. The F-15 took part to the Gulf War in 1991 and it was able to guarantee the air superiority to Coalition Forces. It has been the most effective fighters with an impressive high number of enemy planes shot down. Armed with a 20mm. M61 gun it can use a wide variety of air-to-air missiles. Thanks to the two powerful Pratt & Whitney F-100 after-burring turbofans engines, the “Eagle” is able to reach the maximum speed of Mach 2.5.
It was in 1934 that the German Army ordered Rheinmettal A G to develop
a new 3.7cm anti-tank gun. Rheinmettal ranked beside Krupp as the
biggest gun maker in Germany and already manufactured the first 3.7cm
anti-tank rapid firer in 1918. In 1935, Rheinmettal finished designing
the new anti-tank gun. The overall weight was 450kg. Having two
rubber-tired wheels, torsion bar suspension system and two rear trail
legs, the gun could be easily moved by only a few men. A gun shield of
4mm thickness was fixed for the protection of the gun crew. The gunner
was on the left side of the gun and could traverse it by 60 degrees
both ways, elevate by 25 degrees and depress by 8 degrees. The loader
was on the right side of the horizontal sliding breech block and the
gun could make continuous fire at a rate of 15 rounds per minute. The
3.7cm gun which was 45 calibres long had a muzzle velocity of 762
meters per second (when firing an armour-piercing projectile) and
penetrated a 48mm armour plate standing erect at a distance of 457
meters. The 3.7cm anti-tank gun was immediately accepted by the German
Army and officially designated Anti-tank Gun Model 35/36 (PAK 35/36).
In 1936, the Germans began to deliver the gun to the anti-tank gun
company of each division as its standard equipment. It is reported that
the excellent design of the then typical anti-tank gun exerted a great
influence on the progress of anti-tank guns in the Soviet Union, United
States, and Japan.
Kawasaki's legacy of cutting-edge sportbikes has inspired motorcycle
fans for generations. Recently, the call for 300km/h plus super sports
bikes has motivated several manufactures to bring out powerful
contenders.
Kawasaki answered the call at the 1999 Paris Motorcycle Show, with the
impressive debut of their all-new Ninja ZX-12R. This Ninja was
reportedly created in the image of a fighter plane, which comes as no
surprise considering that its slippery aerodynamics involved the
cooperation of the Aerospace Division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries,
Ltd. In fact, the ZX-12R spent more time in the wind tunnel during its
development phase than any motorcycle in Kawasaki's history. The
results are evident: small winglets on the sides of the fairing
separate airflow around the bike; small wind deflectors on the lower
forks deflect turbulent air from the engine; a long lip on the edge of
the fairing further smoothens out airflow. Also, projecting just ahead
of the front fairing, a large scoop takes advantage of higher air
pressure, heightening intake efficiency. A monocoque frame backbone
creates an airbox that allows air to pass through the inside of the
bike for cooling in addition to ensuring overall rigidity.
The powerplant of the Ninja ZX-12R is a fuel injected 4-cylinder
1,199cc engine that pumps out an abundant 178hp. Its
four-into-two-into-one exhaust system features a titanium muffler
paired with a catalyzer, which helps eliminate unburned hydrocarbons
for cleaner emissions. Kawasaki brilliantly raised the superbike
standard in performance, power and aerodynamics with their series
flagship, the Ninja ZX-12R.

The Lamborghini Miura was produced by the Italian manufacturer between 1966 and 1973. The Miura, when it was presented on the market, was a real supercar characterized by high performance and innovative design. In 1970, on the layout of the Miura, a specific version dedicated for the competitions was created through improvements on chassis and suspensions. Other significant changes where implemented on engine power and on the braking system. The commercial name of this unique car with a power of 440 Hp and outstanding performances was “Jota”. However, due to several requests from customers, Lamborghini modified some Miura SV series with specification similar to Jota. These cars were identified by the acronym SVJ and became soon the dream of car experts and funs all over the World.
The caravel La Pinta was launched in the shipyard of Palos de la Frontera (southwest of Spain). It took part together with the Santa Maria and La Nina in Columbus' first journey to the New World. Of the three ships, La Pinta was the fastest.

Tu-134UBL is a training airplane developed by the Tupolev design office in the early 1980s, based on the successful Tu-134 passenger liner with twin engines in the rear. Unlike the standard plane, the Tu-154 UBL had a special nose and radome designed to simulate the supersonic Tu-22M3 and Tu-160 bombers. This aircraft has the task to train bomber pilots to navigate, land and fly on sensor readings in simple and complicated weather conditions. Simultaneously, the Tu-134UBL provides instruction and training for up to 12 cadets located in the cabin in 3 rows. A total of 90 units were built.
When Kawasaki announced the ZZR1400 it continued their tradition of
producing the strongest bike in the hyper sport category. It attracted
much attention due to its impressive design and specifications. The
ZZR1400 had such a great road presence and strong character, that it
exceeded expected sales forecasts. In America it was given the official
name "ZX-14" but is more widely recognized by its nickname "Ninja". The
ZX-14 is currently known as the world's most powerful sports
motorcycle. The motorcycle also featured a tandem seat fairing and an
under diffuser. In addition to the standard coloring, a fire pattern
livery was given to the American market for special use.

The Super Hornet is a re-designed version of the actual service Hornet wich will succeed it within a few years, because the planned A-12 attack fighter has been cancelled for economical reasons. The Super Hornet is being designed with a whole series of new technologies by using new component materials and an improved aerodynamic shape. Thanks to partially hidden air-intakes certain stealth features against radar have been obtained.
