To get an accurate and reliable reading with Braun No touch + forehead thermometer, please follow these guidelines, to make sure external factors are not interfering with temperature of the skin 30mins:
- When using the thermometer, make sure your child has been indoors for 30 minutes before taking a reading, as the external temperature might
effect the temperature of the skin
- First, get the thermometer ready for the measurement. Let the thermometer sit in the patient’s room where it is being used for 10 minutes beforehand, to make sure it is at room temperature (in case the thermometer is stored in a colder or warmer location)
