1915. Teacher and Poet, Crapsey's interest in meter and rhythm led
her to devise a new verse form, the cinquain, a five-line form of
twenty-two syllables. Her own selection of cinquains and verses in
other forms was published posthumously and was embraced by the
younger generation of literati.
