With an established reputation given by eight books, the first six
books of poetry "I am an eternal child of spring," "Life's Enigma,"
"Everyone wants to be HAPPY," "My Life, My Love," "I am the
gardener of love," and "Amaretta di Saronno," followed by a praised
seventh prose book "A Russian rediscovers America," and the eighth,
again a prodigious poetry book, "Parade of life," it is a great
event to present this sublime ninth book, again of poetry, written
by the leading poet Dr. Adolf P. Shvedchikov, who was nominated for
the 2013 Nobel Prize in Literature. This book is based on Dr.
Shvedchikov's collection of poems, and on their translations in
Russian. The book is divided in three chapters, and each poem in
English is followed by its Russian version. This new metaphysical
poetry book, with unexpected chains of reasoning and incongruous
mixes of the physical and spiritual worlds, with an exceptional
proclivity for eternal love, will remain, together with the first
eight books, on a distinctive and elevated place in the English and
Russian literature.
