Documentary following the creative process behind
British-Bangladeshi dancer and choreographer Akram Khan's solo
dance show, 'Desh'. A great deal went into the making of 'Desh';
not only the creative flair and technical skill required to
conceive and execute a perfectly choreographed dance performance.
'Desh' is partially Khan's attempt to reconcile both his British
and Bangladeshi identities and to create a fusion of the two
nations' traditions in dance. The documentary follows him in both
Bangladesh and Britain as he seeks inspiration.
