The official novelization of the famous "Alien" movie with

A crew of spaceship Nostromo is suddenly woken up from a cryogenic
sleep because of mysterious signals coming from an unknown planet
and received by a ship computer. The astronauts land on the planet

This book does the movie more than justice; it adds so much to the story! The extra details were enough to keep me reading, and scared thanks to the amazing writing skill of Alan Dean Foster.
