Alan Hankinson, broadcaster and climber, takes a look back at the
last century of rock-climbing in the Lake District. He focuses on
the top climbers from each generation and looks at certain climbs
(including Innominate Crag, Napes Needles, Central Butress on
Scafell Crag and Honister Wall on Buckstone Howe). There is also
footage from a climb at Napes Needle dating from 1913, probably the
world's first rock-climbing film.
