The Super Squad is the premier team of heroes in Super City, the
ones people turn to in their darkest hour. And the hero the team
turns to has always been captain Awesome. Five years earlier the
Super Squad, and Awesome, had their greatest triumph with the final
defeat of the Sinister Seven. Afterwards, it faced its greatest
crisis, something which might have torn the team apart and has
loomed over them like a specter since. Now a new villain has
arrived in Super City who knows what happened after the Seven were
defeated, knows the secret Awesome has tried to keep, and knows how
to pull down the highest of them all.
