The benefits of project-based group work in helping people to
realize their potential have long been recognized. What has been
lacking, however, is a methodology to enhance and improve the
process. This manual, which sets out the basic concepts of
project-based group work and gives guidelines on how to manage
different elements of the process, seeks to fill this gap. Written
primarily for those involved with youths, the manual is not
intended to be prescriptive but rather to act as a foundation from
which group facilitators can develop their own style and
techniques.
