Mejuffrou Minoes was vroeer 'n kat. Daarom spin en krap sy en vryf
sy graag haar kop teen mense. Sy hou ook nog steeds van voeltjies.
Al is sy nou 'n gewone meisie, sing sy nog af en toe die
Miaau-Miaau-lied en praat sy nog uitstekend kattaal. Dit is baie
handig vir Tibbe, haar baas wat vir 'n koerant werk. Deur die
Kattenuusdiens hoor hy van baie geheime dinge wat in die stad
Katsendal aangaan. Dit veroorsaak allerlei moeilikhede, maar danksy
Minoes en haar talle katvriende loop alles goed af.
