Considered one of the greatest works of ancient Babylon, this epic

literature--follows the story of a tyrant whose friendship with a
savage transforms him into a beloved king, worshipped by his
subjects. But his friend's death makes him aware that he too will
die one day. Obsessed with the idea of dying, he launches himself
into a series of extraordinary adventures that takes him to the
ends of the earth to find the secret of immortality. Constituyendo

epico--considerado como una de las primeras obras de
literatura--sigue la historia de un tirano cuyo encuentro y amistad
con un salvaje lo transforman en un rey amado por su pueblo. Pero
la muerte del amigo le hace tomar conciencia de que el mismo habra
de morir. Obsesionado por esa idea se lanza a una serie de
extraordinarias aventuras, que lo llevan hasta los confines del
mundo para descubrir el secreto de la inmortalidad.
