It is M's funeral. One man is missing from the graveside: the traitor James Bond, in custody accused of M's murder.

Behind the Iron Curtain, a group of former Smersh and Stasi agents now want to use their lethal British spy against a target whose assassination will change history. Bond is smuggled into the lion's den to receive his orders - but whose orders is he following, and what will he do when the time comes to pull the trigger?

In a mission where one false move means death, Bond must also grapple with the darkest questions about himself - but not even he knows what has happened to the man he used to be.

For Your Eyes Only dear reader!

Bond, Jame Bond, agent 00, has been around since the early 1950's in book form. Ian Fleming created what he called "airport novels" that would appeal to a post war British public. And he continued to write one novel a year until his death. Readers worldwide could not get enough of Bond. And they still want more today! Many authors have tried to revive Bond and the most successful is Anthony Horowitz.. He places 007 where he belongs, in the Cold War of the 50's and 60's. This time Bond is indeed very cold as he is sent over the Berlin Wall to Moscow in Russia to face old enemies. Of course 007 is subjected to torture, meets a beautiful woman & survives. Or does he? The book ends with an older James Bond tired of fighting a lonely secret war walking towards West Berlin as all ### breaks loose behind him. He is worn down and simply does not care or even look back as shots are fired towards him. This is the final book in Horowitz's trilogy of Bond thrillers. Read it, it's for your eyes only!
