Aldo Rossi is one of the acknowledged masters of architecture of
the second half of the 20th century; the interest in his work has
remained constant since the 1960s, as is demonstrated by the events
organized recently for the 20th anniversary of his death. The three
essays gathered together in this small volume present a different
view of the Italian architect and make a highly valuable
contribution to the copious amounts of literature already available
on his work.
