The existing space regime is facing new challenges as a result of the recent advances in space techno-logy and the emergence of space security is a critical dimension in national security calculus. This necessitates a proactive approach and a comprehensive space policy. This volume is an attempt in this direction to sensitise experts, policy makers and interested general audiences about the developments and debates in this area and their implications for India.
