packing my bags in the early morning light, packing everything I
will need for my journey in my old worn suitcase & walking out
the front door & into the light of the newborn sun & into
the light of the newborn day & walking off down the road
carrying with me everything important to me / leaving behind
luggage which only lays me down, venturing out to face myself &
to find my Destiny / venturing outside the walls of the box I
resided in / walking into the sunlight & off down the road, the
rhythm of my footsteps echoing amongst fields & cities &
flowers & the air around me, like music of passionate
enthusiasm, the fervor of my heart guiding me from the shadows
& into the sunlight ahead / venturing off so that I may find
what I've always been looking for / venturing into the sunlight /
just look at the marvelous journey ahead of me / a journey which
has no end, & there is no limit to how high I can fly Dancing
in the Sunlight is a collection of 40 poems.
