When a gray kitten named Jane is cruelly cast on the street at ten weeks old, she spends her time hiding in bushes and under porches, terrified of dangers around her. After all, now she has more than herself to look after: she is expecting kittens. Letters from Jane offers a thoughtful, engaging tale of life as experienced through an animal's eyes.
