In many developing countries access to veterinary services is a particular problem in rural areas, and poor farmers suffer significant losses of production due to preventable livestock diseases.;"Village Animal Healthcare" describes three pilot projects which ITDG's livestock programme has undertaken in Kenya since 1986.
