Blackie Swart is not an unknown musician in South Africa. Through the years he peformed with musicians such as The Passengers, Marcalex, Jack Hammer and Ziggy Malie. He is currently part of the very popular Ses Snare and also member of the Johnny Black Band. Blackie's most successful releases were Liewe Lulu, Pers Kombers, Windgat Bakkie, Laat hy val, Toe word ons dors, Anna and Kielie my. Sales of solo albums reached over the 600 000 mark recently. After thirty two years in the music industry Blackie now decided to put all his favourite songs as well as new hits on a greatest hits album for release. We are sure that his followers will be pleased! The title of the album LIG JOU GLAS is also a celebration of thirty two years in the industry.
