• Femé Pad®gel pads provide a more comfortable, easy to use cooling alternative to regular ice packs. It’s soft cushioning effect can also relieve pressure when sitting down, which will enable a new mother to sit more comfortably to feed her newborn baby. Swelling and bruising occurs very quickly and may result in pain anddiscomfort for several days. Painkillers, bathing or ice packs are often advised to try to alleviate these problems. Regular ice packs for numbing the area have been found, by some women, to be uncomfortable and difficult to apply.
• Suitable for repeated use by one individual:
• 1.Place a gel pad in the poly bag provided in a freezer for a minimum of 2 hours prior to use.
• 2.Remove the gel pad from the poly bag, insert it into the gauze sleeve provided and apply carefully to the wound.
• 3.After use, discard the gauze sleeve.
• 4.The gel pad must be cleaned in warm soapy water and dried thoroughly with a clean towel before replacing in the poly bag and returning to the freezer.
• Two Femé Pads®are recommended, (one worn and one in the freezer), to achieve maximum benefit.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use sterilizing fluid/tablets to clean the gel pad.
• Do not heat.
• Should the gel pad become punctured or damaged in any way discard immediately.
