A book of poetry that represents the Appalachian lifestyle that has
determined the core of who we are today. It has the raw emotions,
beliefs and experiences of a person that grew up in this
environment. About one third of the poems open a doorway for
younger generations to step into a world of values and lifestyle
rarely seen today. With a vision of a time that only their parents,
grandparents and great-grandparents lived through, brought back by
words and emotion. This book embodies a culture of simple ways,
hard work and the trials and tribulations of life as we experience
it today.
