Casual Day is the National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD)’s flagship awareness and fundraising project. A widely celebrated national campaign that occurs annually in South Africa. Your contribution for a Casual Day sticker entitles you to express your individual interpretation of our theme through your outfits, showing your support for the full inclusion and equity of persons with disabilities.
Casual Day is now the most prominent and successful social advocacy campaign in South African history, having raised and distributed over R411 million since 1995. Casual Day supports 600+ beneficiary NGOs, community organisations and special schools. The proceeds of the donations are channeled to Persons with Disabilities at care centres, schools, homes and workshops represented by the participating organisations.
