Product works mostly as intended, upgraded from the wired solution and seems that if you wire up the receiver with com and trigger cable you loose the functionality to have the receiver setup wirelessly with the D5 Smart motor. In this case log into the motor and setup the auto close/open triggers to the according I/O ports corresponding on the motors controller. As for the transmitter and receiver they work perfectly fine wirelessly Auto alignment takes a few seconds and which is great and allows for a 1m discrepancy so for the DIY option its no hassle. Had the receiver had the option for both wireless and wired for failover would have been 5 stars also if the manual noted that only one option can be used it would have saved time with troubleshooting. **Should you setup the receiver wireless power is still needed to the unit
