Whilst modesty would normally prevent him from quoting their praise direct, he feels it only right and proper and decent to assist potential purchasers in making a decision by providing some extracts from Kindle readers' reviews. Apparently, the diary is "thoroughly enjoyable," "well-written and witty" and "beautifully done," not to say "completely marvellous." Whilst not a man to make many jokes, Charles is pleased that one reader feels the diary is "just as funny today, if not more so."
