When a blind beggar hears about a new teacher in a distant northern
province who has the amazing ability to heal people of diseases and
disabilities, he is seized by an insatiable desire to learn if this
man is for real and to try to find him. In spite of dire warnings
against getting involved with this new teacher/healer, and
disregarding his own personal limitations, Bart embarks alone on an
adventurous trek to the north to find the truth about this
intriguing man and to seek healing of his own blindness. Bart
endures verbal and physical assaults, painful accidents,
loneliness, doubts, fears, and other difficulties in his search for
truth and for personal healing. But along his journeys, he also
meets interesting and helpful people as he searches for truth and
light.
