A fictional story of a family of free slaves that were kidnapped
and sold back into slavery and a search for them over two years by
their former owner. During the two years they experienced fictional
but many actual historical experiences including the kidnapper and
murderer Patty Cannon of Delaware, The Wye Town Plantation of
Talbot County, Maryland, a fictional North Carolina plantation that
handled their slaves contrary to the majority of southern
plantations. The story hopes to shed light on both sides in the use
of slaves as our nation grew. Which has become our heritage. A
heritage of all involved at the times.
