Crunch Time relates the story of a couple of teenagers who undergo a practical process of repentance and pacification in regard to God. This title refers to a phrase one might use at a rather crucial moment in a competition, while also suggesting a potentially important chapter of human experience. Combining a conception of certain Christian principles with a sense of diverse challenges that may be part of life in a modern society, the narrative imparts a message about belief. Crunch Time was written in the form of a script. The author, a lover of Shakespearean plays, was inspired to articulate the story as if anyone could associate with the characters. The main purpose of this novel is to articulate and illustrate the love of Jesus Christ. It makes no difference who you are. God loves you and He desires a relationship. Although Jesus cares, one must make a crucial decision for oneself. The next breath of one's body is not guaranteed; it is "Crunch Time." Time is running out on many; however, one must choose Christ to experience love, peace, and happiness. Within many communities, the young black males are under attack. Seventy percent of them are dropping out of school to attend the "Corner University." Drugs, violence, and premarital sex are among the pinnacle of problems. Many youth are throwing their hands up from the different experiences life gives. Sadly, when some of these young men throw their hands up, they will be staring down the barrel of a gun The novel, Crunch Time, is written for all races. There is a message for all to hear. The characters in this novel represent the entire human race.
