Fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have been wooing fashionistas with their very chic clothing lines since starting their fashion house in 1985. Courtesy of their flashy and sexy clothing, the duo had an immediate impact on the world of fashion. The designers offer clothing under two brands: Dolce & Gabbana, which focuses on luxury clothing, eyewear, accessories, and perfumes and the D&G line, which is a newer, more casual line of products aimed at a younger demographic that includes Dolce and Gabbana perfumes and colognes.

The company's first fragrance, Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme, has been called one of the best perfumes produced in the past 20 years. In fact, it even won the International Perfume Academies award for Best Women's Fragrance in 1993. Based on the success of Pour Femme, the designers launched their first cologne in 1994. The Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue fragrances for men and women have become their most successful fragrance line to date.
