Incredibly accessible and interesting

I bought this book to read with my daughter. I love that we are building a culture in our home that normalises achievement regardless of gender. Even though she is only 4 years old, she is intrigued by the lovely illustrations and as the years go on, we'll continue to enjoy the biographies of notable women, especially as they are written in such an accessible, straightforward way.
The book contains QR codes to link to the Rebel Girls app saying "hear more", but you need to purchase the app in order to do so. It's a bit disappointing that book owners don't have access to the pricey app after spending so much on the book, but that's the publisher's doing, not a reflection on Loot. I'm still happy I have the book, though, to enjoy screen free time with my little one and learning about some incredible people.
