Two films about Eddy Merckx, the man sometimes referred to as the
greatest cycling champion of them all. The first film tells the
story of his remarkable career, describing how he grew up above a
small grocer's store in Brussels, and how his ambition and drive
pushed him to the forefront of his field, with Merckx himself
offering insights into his early years. In the second film, the
focus moves to Merckx's great rivalry with the Italian cyclist
Felice Gimondi, and includes footage of the two racing, along with
interviews in which they describe their relationship.
