I originally thought it would be exactly like hyrule warriors with different skins. Turns out, it has a pretty awesome story line and has elements of the fire emblem franchise (example being the weapon triangle) . It is in a way similar in terms of battle style and maps. It's worth a try,for newcomers to get a glimpse of the previous game characters andnfamiliarize them and for those who love the franchise, it gives you another outtake. As an older fan of the franchise it's a bit sad though that there aren't many characters from the old FE games and more from awakening and fates. It isn't necessary to buy the special edition unless you want the additional physical items . If you don't, buy it on eshop with the season pass for a similar price as the original listing(physical copy) .
