Vir Die Voëls is gebaseer op die ware verhaal van Irma Humpel, ’n korrelkop-rabbedoe wat in ’n trourok voor die kansel beland langs die seun wat haar kleintyd onophoudelik geterg het.
Tot kort tevore was sy vasbeslote dat onafhanklikheid die enigste vorm van vryheid is, maar intussen het Sampie de Klerk haar oortuigings op alle vlakke kom uitdaag.
Vir Die Voëls speel in die laatsewentigs af en is propvol liefde, lag en trane.

Brilliant piece of work

This is a movie South African's who grew up in the 60's 70's and 80's can more than relate to. Brilliant have watch it 8 times now, don't think you can ever get tired of.
