The new interdisciplinary theology series, published by the
Evangelical Theological Faculty of the University of Tubingen,
provides a forum for the discussion of interdisciplinary aspects of
theology. The focus is on approaches that relate to theology and
its exegetical, historical, systematic and practical disciplines
bring them into conversation with each other and with other
sciences Tolerance is one of the cornerstones of democratic
societies. The tolerance that has been hard-won in European history
is currently being challenged, not least by the tensions and
conflicts that arise from religious beliefs. Religion often appears
as a source of intolerance. The connection between religion and
tolerance must therefore urgently be formulated as a topic of
education and upbringing, examined and examined for possible
strategies for action. This book offers helpful approaches for
this.
