We Kiss Them With Rain is Futhi Ntshingila's debut novel in North America. The book is set in modern-day South Africa. We Kiss Them With Rain was translated into Portuguese and published by Brazilian publisher Dublinense in June 2016 to critical acclaim and has already gone into a second printing. Ntshingila is currently translating the novel into her native Zulu, which will be released in South Africa in 2017.
