The language and ideas of salvation pervade the three Pastoral
Epistles. This study offers a close examination of their
soteriological statements. In all three letters the idea of
salvation is found to play a vital paraenetic role, but each also
exhibits distinctive soteriological emphases. The results challenge
common assumptions about the Pastoral Epistles as a corpus.
