I am the author of this coffee table book which features more than 70 safari lodges in South Africa and a collection of new, exquisite wildlife pictures. Yes, I did have to go to them all - well somebody's got to do it and I struck lucky! Between myself and renowned photographer and publisher of this book Gerald Hoberman, we have each visited more than 150 safari lodges, so you can be assured that our comments come from an immense base of experience.
