Dieser Band enthalt Beitrage der V. Internationalen Tagung zur Linguistica Coseriana. 26 Autoren behandeln theoretische Aspekte des Werks Coserius, seine Stellung in der Geschichte und Gegenwart der Sprachtheorien, sprachliche Kompetenz, Kreativitat und Fixierung, Funktionen im Text und im Diskurs sowie Variation von Sprachen. Die Beitrage geben theoretisch orientierte Antworten auf einige von Coseriu aufgeworfene Fragen, sie sind empirisch fundiert und beinhalten auch historiographische UEberlegungen. Dabei geht es nicht um eine Exegese der Texte Coserius, sondern um produktive Weiterentwicklungen einer kompetenzorientierten, funktionalen und auf sprachliche Variation bezogenen Linguistik. Este volumen contiene contribuciones a la V. Conferencia Internacional sobre Linguistica Coseriana. 26 Autores tratan aspectos teoricos de la obra de Coseriu, su postura con respecto a la historia y presente de las teorias del lenguaje, competencia linguistica, creatividad y fijacion, funciones en el texto y discurso, asi como la variacion de lenguas. Las contribuciones ofrecen respuestas teoricas sobre algunos planteamientos de Coseriu, estan fundamentadas empiricamente y contienen tambien reflexiones historiograficas. No se trata de una exegesis de los textos de Coseriu, sino de desarrollos productivos de una linguistica funcional orientada a la competencia linguistica y que tiene en cuenta a la variacion linguistica.
