Arab women writers are increasing in recent years, one of the
distinguished authors is Hana Karam Saba Lives in Cyprus. She wrote
"hakatha Wolidat Maryam" Novel (Thus, Maryam was Born). A story on
Iraqi invasion to Kuwait, and the situation of refugees. Hana wrote
short stories and Here "Hiba" (Charity or the Gift). The author
shows more talents of great Arab women writers in Diaspora. The
Novel reflects the Arab woman situation in the Eastern typical
culture in the last half century and is expected to be a serial on
TV. The book is part of Ihyaa al Turath al Arabi fil Mahjar
(Revival of Arab heritage in Diaspora) project supported by the
Arab American Encyclopedia originated by the managing editor, a
well known Arab American scholar, poet, and author of more than 200
books, Dr. Yahya resides in Michigan-USA, and has four children and
ten grandchildren.
