The series "Controversia et Confessio" documents the
inner-Protestant disputes after the Interim of 1548. The
nine-volume edition is based on the treated
theological-historically relevant topics and offers those texts
that were of central importance for the development of the
denominations. Behind the controversy was the dispute about the
legacy of the Wittenberg Reformation carried out by Luther and
Melanchthon, as well as the question of the relationship between
religion and politics, the search for authorities providing
orientation and the struggle for theological authenticity with a
simultaneous pluralization of positions. This tenth volume
concludes the edition with a complete index.
