What a Beautiful Deck, But the Guidebook...

I ordered this deck as I really enjoy Harmony Nice's content on YouTube. This deck is beautiful and of great quality. The box is so pretty. I love the art. But...
The guidebook really upset me. As someone who has been reading tarot regularly for a few years now, I find her interpretations of the cards to be negative and restrictive. The more "difficult" cards are presented in the very negative and doom-and-gloom light that people who know nothing about tarot assume it's going to be about. I would say it's not a good deck for newbie tarot enthusiasts. If you're not a guidebook reader, you would enjoy this deck. It may be a pip deck but she has taken a unique approach to the pip idea. And some of the cards have gorgeous art. I love the ghost for the Death card; it's so cute! But if the guidebook is important to you, be aware that it may not be everyone's cup of tea. If you have a gut of steel, you may enjoy her straight-down-the-line approach.
