When the alien Mimics invade, Keiji Kiriya is just one of many recruits shoved into a suit of battle armor called a Jacket and sent out to kill. Keiji dies on the battlefield, only to be reborn each morning to fight and die again and again. Totally worth it.

I didnt know that Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise is actually just a live-action of this manga. This manga is based off a Japanese Syfy light novel. And I tell you what the movie does not do it justice at all. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through this even though I've seen the movie first. I always liked reading the source material if I could and I do like it much better. There is just a lot more substance with reading the manga then watching a live action. If you like reading manga, like sci-fi, or even like Edge of Tomorrow minus Tom Cruise, then you will enjoy this one. It is a two-in-one omnibus, so you can really read the series in one sitting. My only complaint is that the cover has a weird feel to it. It's not glossy, it's not matte... It has a slight fuzz to it that attracts dust like no tomorrow
