Holbein Artists' Luminous Watercolors are a selection of fluorescent colors that expand the possibilities of your palette. Their high brightness and saturation bring a unique intensity to these vibrant watercolors. As with all fluorescent colors please note that they have a low lightfast rating and finished works should not be displayed in direct sunlight.

Holbein watercolors produce brilliant transparent washes as well as powerful clean darks when used in more concentrated applications. A European-style transparent watercolor, Holbein watercolor also preserves the brush handling qualities inherent in traditional Japanese watercolor techniques. Without ox-gall or other dispersing agents, Holbein watercolor moves slowly permitting greater color density and brush control.
