The Walt Disney animated version of the old tale of love, courage
and friendship with a backdrop of the New World. Pocahontas is a
Native American girl whose life, and that of her tribe, is
dramatically changed by the arrival of a shipload of English
settlers. Amongst them is the handsome adventurer Captain John
Smith (voiced by Mel Gibson), who falls for the pretty young lady.
Songs and comedy from cuddly cute characters mix with adventure and
excitement to create a charming tale.
