Extensive nationalization, compromising not only the property of
a single individual, but whole sectors of the economic system of
the country gives rise to problems which cannot technically be
solved on the basis of a few simple principles. The evolution of
international law regarding the question of the international
consequences of nationalization of property is elucidated in this
work.
