All four episodes of the Channel 4 psychological drama about a
troubled teenager. On the surface, 16-year-old Sam Woodford (Jack
Rowan) is a well-adjusted, normal teenager who enjoys sports, gets
by at school, has a good relationship with his mother Jenny (Romola
Garai) and takes good care of patients in a geriatric ward where he
works part-time. However, he puts in a lot of practice behind
closed doors to maintain his charming facade for reasons which
remain unclear. As he tries to get closer to the new girl at
school, Chrissy (Lara Peake), it's not long before Sam's
psychopathic tendencies reveal themselves while Jenny tries her
best to protect both her son and herself from a violent figure from
her past.
