This is the story of a honeybee called Little Bee Sunbeam. She's
searching for especially good nectar, to make honey, when it
suddenly becomes very cold, forcing her to spend the night alone in
the forest. Jakob Streit brings all his storytelling ability to
this lovely tale, which introduces issues of sexuality for the
Steiner-Waldorf curriculum. Suitable as a reader for Year 5 (age
11) and up, or to be read to children from Year 3 (age 9) and up,
it also fits well into the Botany lesson block in the
Steiner-Waldorf curriculum.
